WHEN SHE REACTED BACK
By Ntoli J Mwaipopo
Every girlfriend,
fiancée or a wife likes a good statue from her boyfriend or husband. Most men
use aphorisms from the book of “songs of Solomon” to create that conducive
environment and giving their partners a new world. I do too. Of mine, Am a bit
far from her physically, and she can’t sleep a day without having word good night
coined with quotes that will make herself judge whether she brushed her teeth
or not.
So I have to think a whole day what will make her introduce 32 teeth to
phone’s screen (she is not old enough for 32 teeth). She made my sms as part of
her happiness that control a day, as cosmetics that make her the only earthed
beauty, as coldril she co’d take whenever dust particle seems to stream across
her nose. It’s 7 years now since in relationship. Honestly I’m a brainstormer because
of he-she sms. That is development. Who knows!!? Perhaps without her I could
not be straining my books, surfing through the internet and thinking too much
for her happiness. To her point of happiness and as I was fighting to kill her
giant disease “Happy phobia” I was supposed to send her not less than 20
beautiful and nice sound fully sms a day. But now am sure I have finished all
books I used to clip out those nice quotes, even Google repeats what I’ve
already sent to her. She hates repeated sms no matter nice sound fully they’re,
scientifically she mutates to the extent that the already received sms can’t
trigger her masseter, buccinators to contract and relax (damping mechanism of
sms), so Happy PHOBIA is back again!. She isn’t happy anymore as nothing new to
kill her happy superbugs. Now I reminisce my brother’s words as he said “sending
her such sms anytime you feel like it, you are spoiling her. There’s time
you’ll have nothing new to straightforward her” I thought it’s a great
development for me hurling sms whenever I thought she couldn’t be ok, just like
prescribing medicinal drugs to undiagnosed ill. Now I’ve realized, that doing
something out of its purpose will never change anything for sure rather than
temporary effects that are too easy for the other side to react upon it when
looks common. I consulted my nearby bro, to see how I can solve this problem,
because she is now a real happy phobia suffering lady, to extent that the whole
family is suffering from her response.
UNZIPPED PUZZLE IN ME!!!
Dearest leaders, the
world currently is in unzipped puzzle of what to do, regarding theses major world
problems, global peace issues, human rights violations and environmental
issues. Antimicrobial resistance on its side have been a big agenda among
doctors, pharmacists, chemists, political leaders and other related health
practitioners It’s a major world threatening issue when we put our sense in
health field. AMR is defined as the ability of microbes (bacteria, parasites,
fungi and viruses) to resist to the drugs that kills them. Antimicrobial
resistance is not a new issue to this post-medicine era and isn’t a threat but
a reality, it is everywhere we think of. In 1945, My friend in mind, a Nobel prize
laureate Fleming warned the World as he predicted the occurrence of AMR, he
said “It is not difficult to make bacteria resistant to penicillin in the
laboratory by exposing them to the concentration-not sufficiency to kill
them”…He further explained that, the time comes when Penicillin will be bought
in the shop by any one, but an ignorant man will under dose himself by exposing
these microbes to a non-lethal drugs. 18 years after His warning, penicillin
experienced a resistance from microbes, also erythromycin experienced a
resistance 8 years after it’s discovered, Levoflaxin on the same year of
discovery experienced a resistance. As an aspiring leader and 7star
pharmaceutical student (7star pharmacist), I attended the TAPSA Annual
scientific conference 2017, under very digestible theme “Expanding the scope of
awareness and fighting against Antimicrobial resistance in Tanzania”. The main
issue here is, is our communities aware about AMR? , I have done several and simple
observations and researches to gauge the awareness concerning AMR. In short
terms they’re not aware of this reality. Scanty information about AMR from
health practitioners is also catalyzing ignorance on these. As I was in the
conference, listening to the presentations and discussions among pharmstudents
like me, I got a story to tell.” MY MOTHER IS a SELF PHARMA-SHE”.She owns her pharmacy
shelf where antibiotics, painkillers and antifungal drugs never miss. Whenever
she feel or her beloved kids seems to feel a certain symptoms, she takes a
medicine and gives it to them. To prove that she is a real pharmacist-school
dropout, she says. Take it 2x3 a day. Once the situation seems worse, she never
hesitates to take her kids to the doctors and pharmacist-school philic where
diagnosis is done and prescription met the diagnosis. As her kids seem to
improve healthily, she quit giving her kids the medicine and save for the next
illness. This is how her shelf is full of drugs. This is my mother Tracing
back, my brother who is now a real pharmacist not by school dropout, used to
take any kind of medicine he met with whenever a symptoms felt of. He could
take painkillers for cold or flu. Or panado (zenadol) for stomach ache. He
never finished the dose prescribed by doctors or pharmacists. He saved the
drugs for the next ill. Misuse, overuse and under use of drugs, makes microbes
stronger more and more. Human pave a way to AMR by misuse of drugs. Our body need
to feel good all the time (It needs a good sms like goodnight and some quotes
sounding nice), on its ignorance, our mind as a he, fed our body with drugs
when they like it. Antibiotics, painkillers are like sms after series of
repetition to our bodies seems common to bacteria.). Discovery of new drugs
that are capable of killing microbes won’t threaten them, as long as human
under dose himself or herself, AMR is still in our house. And every drug we see
now we’ll have no medical application to our health more than toxicity. If we
don’t change our mind upon the use of antimicrobial Drugs, we soon going to
tell our grandchildren that “once we had Antibiotics, antifungal drugs” as we
now being told that “ we were zinjanthropus from about 4.2-1.4million years
back” (actually my grand pa! told me). MY greetings to all 7star pharmacists,
doctors, and any health practitioners who are ready to devote their minutes to
help my village from the reality of AMR,Act
